In Singapore the deciding criteria are InvoiceNow listing, GST F5 and IAF output, published SGD pricing and multi-outlet fit. Our shortlist for a trading or F&B SME is Xero, Financio, ABSS, Zoho Books and Flowyana, with SAP Business One and NetSuite above that size. Dictode builds the InvoiceNow link and custom modules on Flowyana where packaged software falls short.

How we compared ERP systems for Singapore

We put six questions to every system. First, what does the vendor say about InvoiceNow, and is the product on the InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider list IMDA published on 17 September 2026? Second, does it keep standard-rated, zero-rated and exempt supplies apart at 9 percent so GST F5 fills itself, and can it produce the IRAS Audit File on request? Third, is a price in Singapore dollars published at all?

The other three are practical: cloud only, or an on-premises option for firms that want the database under their own control; separate stock, tills and margins per outlet in one set of books; and a Singapore office or partner network. Every vendor fact below was read on the vendor's own site and checked 2026-09-23.

The shortlist: ten ERP and accounting systems for Singapore

The list runs alphabetically rather than by rank. Compliance and pricing lines are what each vendor publishes on its own site, checked 2026-09-23; InvoiceNow-Ready status was matched against IMDA's list dated 17 September 2026; where no figure is published we write quote-based. ASR+ tiers are not quoted, since IRAS says that register is being rebranded with applications on hold.

ABSS — Desktop accounting with a long Singapore history, now with a cloud layer called Connect. Its site says the Connect editions can activate GST InvoiceNow and pass invoice data to IRAS; ABSS Accounting Connect and Premier Connect are IMDA InvoiceNow-Ready listed. Pricing on sg.abssasia.com, checked 2026-09-23: Accounting Connect from S$349 a year, Premier Connect from S$499 a year, or a one-time Premier licence from S$1,426. Windows desktop, English. Suits a trader with inventory and job costing.

Deskera — Cloud ERP with books, inventory, CRM and payroll, founded in Singapore but priced globally. Its site says Deskera belongs to the Peppol Access Point and solution-provider group and includes InvoiceNow sending; the name is absent from IMDA's 17 September 2026 list. Pricing on deskera.com, checked 2026-09-23, is in US dollars only: Growth US$199 and Mid Market US$249 per user per month, billed yearly, five-user minimum; no SGD price. Suits a mid-size distributor.

Financio — The low-cost cloud sibling of ABSS for micro and small businesses. Its site states the product is GST InvoiceNow ready and submits GST F5 returns and the IRAS Audit File; Financio Accounting Essentials and Premier are IMDA InvoiceNow-Ready listed. Pricing on financio.co/sg, checked 2026-09-23: Essentials S$20 a month or S$220 a year, Premier S$30 a month or S$330 a year. Cloud, English, unlimited users. Suits a cafe or small retailer that needs compliant invoicing more than inventory depth.

Flowyana — Dictode's ERP for trading, retail and F&B. It ships accounting with Singapore GST at 9 percent and separate SR, ZR and ES codes, inventory with batch, expiry and serial tracking, offline-first POS, multi-branch with a tax registration per branch, and a REST API. It does not ship InvoiceNow transmission or CPF payroll and is on neither the IMDA list nor ASR+. Dictode builds the Peppol link through a listed Access Point, the IRAS transmission, IAF export and CPF rules, typically in 4–8 weeks. Cloud or on-premises; quote-based.

Odoo — Open-source modular ERP with strong inventory, manufacturing and POS apps, cloud or self-hosted. Odoo's own Peppol registration covers European countries and its Singapore localisation documents PayNow QR codes, not InvoiceNow; here that layer comes from partners, three of which (Alitec, Neu Media, Port Cities) are IMDA InvoiceNow-Ready listed. Pricing on odoo.com, checked 2026-09-23: a free single-app plan, then per-user Standard and Custom plans priced by country, so read the SGD figure from Singapore. Suits a growing trader or central-kitchen F&B group.

Oracle NetSuite — Cloud ERP for companies past the SME accounting stage, with multi-entity consolidation. Oracle's documentation describes a Singapore PEPPOL-Ready e-Invoicing SuiteApp that exchanges invoices and credit memos through the DataPost access point and is written for GST InvoiceNow with IRAS as an endpoint; NetSuite is not on IMDA's 17 September 2026 list. Pricing on netsuite.com.sg, checked 2026-09-23: an annual licence built from platform, modules and users, no figure published, so quote-based. Cloud only, English. Suits a regional group with several entities.

QuickBooks Online — Intuit's cloud accounting with a Singapore edition for GST tracking and F5 figures. Its Singapore e-invoicing page, checked 2026-09-23, says a native InvoiceNow feature built with Fonoa is available but still awaiting its IMDA listing, with direct reporting to IRAS to follow; the product is not on IMDA's 17 September 2026 list. Pricing on quickbooks.intuit.com/sg names Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Advanced; the SGD figures load live on the page. Cloud, English. Suits a firm whose accountant already works in QuickBooks.

SAP Business One — SAP's small-business ERP, sold and implemented through partners, on-premises or in a partner cloud. SAP's site offers a quote rather than a list price, so it is quote-based, checked 2026-09-23. IMDA's 17 September 2026 list carries SAP Business One through five Singapore partners, while SAP Asia's own entry is its Document and Reporting Compliance cloud service. Strong batch and serial control, multi-currency, English. Suits a larger manufacturer or distributor that wants a partner on call.

Xero — Cloud accounting widely used by Singapore accounting firms and the simplest InvoiceNow route for a small company. Xero's site says you connect an organisation to its Invoici app to register on Peppol and exchange e-invoices, and Xero is IMDA InvoiceNow-Ready listed under Xero (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Pricing on xero.com/sg, checked 2026-09-23: Starter S$39, Standard S$70 and Premium S$95 a month once the introductory discount ends. Cloud, English, no on-premises option. Suits a services firm or small trader.

Zoho Books — Cloud accounting inside the wider Zoho suite with a Singapore edition. Its pricing page lists Peppol e-invoicing from the Standard plan and GST F5 returns, and its e-invoicing page says B2B invoices go through InvoiceNow with GST F5 still filed separately; Zoho is not on IMDA's 17 September 2026 list. Pricing on zoho.com/en-sg, checked 2026-09-23: Free, then S$18, S$36 and S$54 a month for Standard, Professional and Premium, up to S$373 for Ultimate. Cloud, English. Suits a small trader growing into Zoho Inventory.

Singapore compliance checklist for ERP

GST has stood at 9 percent since 1 January 2024, and registration becomes compulsory once taxable turnover passes S$1 million. GST F5 is normally quarterly, with standard-rated, zero-rated and exempt supplies in separate boxes, so your ERP needs three live tax codes, and its listings and ledger should export as the IRAS Audit File. Records are kept for five years.

GST InvoiceNow dates every entry above. Since 1 April 2026 any business applying for voluntary GST registration transmits invoice data to IRAS over the InvoiceNow network. Existing GST-registered businesses join in four yearly tranches from 1 April 2028 to 1 April 2031, ordered by 2025 supplies: at or under S$200,000 first, then S$1 million, then S$4 million, then the rest. A small F&B operator registered today is in the earliest tranche; our Singapore InvoiceNow guide covers the routes.

Payroll is statutory even for a five-person shop: CPF contributions by age band and residency status, the Skills Development Levy, and year-end employee earnings reporting to IRAS. Most cloud accounting tools bolt this on as a separate module; Flowyana posts payroll to the ledger but leaves the CPF computation to a build Dictode scopes with you.

When custom beats off-the-shelf in Singapore

Three situations justify custom work. Multi-outlet pricing: per-user or per-organisation fees look small until six restaurants or three entities multiply them, and consolidation is usually a higher tier, so a platform licensed once with branches inside it can cost less over three years. Industry workflow: central-kitchen production with recipe costing and expiry-dated stock, consignment sales, or serial-numbered goods in bonded storage rarely fit a generic inventory app. Integration with local systems: PayNow QR, a Peppol Access Point, marketplace and delivery orders and bank imports each need a connector; at four or five, a build on an API-first platform beats five subscriptions.

Dictode builds those pieces on Flowyana or on the ERP you already run, typically in 4–8 weeks per scope, with the code handed to you.

How to run the selection in 30 days

Week one is data: work out your GST InvoiceNow date, count outlets, entities and daily users, and export your chart of accounts and last four F5 returns. Week two is demos with your own documents: give three finalists a real invoice, a credit note and a stock transfer, and ask to see an InvoiceNow document reach IRAS in test, a GST F5 draft and an IRAS Audit File export.

Week three is money and proof: price each finalist over three years including users, outlets, add-ons, implementation and the InvoiceNow layer, and check the product name on IMDA's list yourself. Week four: sign, agree a migration plan for opening balances and open documents, and set go-live at a GST period boundary so no return straddles two systems.

الأسئلة الشائعة

لديك سؤال آخر؟ تحدث مع المبيعات

Which ERP is best for a small trading or F&B business in Singapore?

For a cafe or single-shop trader whose main worry is InvoiceNow, Financio or Xero are listed and cheap. A trader carrying stock does better on ABSS Premier or Zoho Books with Zoho Inventory. An F&B group with several outlets needs POS, kitchen tickets and expiry-dated stock in one system: Flowyana with a Dictode-built InvoiceNow link, or Odoo through a listed partner.

How much does ERP software cost in Singapore?

Published prices, checked 2026-09-23: cloud accounting from S$20 to S$95 a month (Financio, Zoho Books, Xero), ABSS Connect from S$349 a year, Deskera US$199 per user per month. Odoo prices per user by country; SAP Business One, NetSuite and Flowyana are quote-based. Implementation usually exceeds the first year of licences once inventory is involved.

Is Xero InvoiceNow-ready in Singapore?

Yes, as far as the official list goes: Xero (Singapore) Pte Ltd is on IMDA's InvoiceNow-Ready list dated 17 September 2026, and Xero's site describes registering on Peppol through its Invoici app. Confirm in your subscription that the app is connected and GST InvoiceNow submission to IRAS is switched on.

Is Flowyana the best ERP for Singapore?

It depends on what you run. Flowyana fits trading, retail and F&B businesses with more than one outlet, because POS, inventory with expiry and serial tracking, and per-branch GST registration ship in the core. It does not ship InvoiceNow transmission or CPF payroll and is on neither official list; Dictode builds those as a scoped project. A one-outlet services firm is better served by a listed cloud product.

Cloud or on-premises in Singapore?

Cloud for almost every SME: connectivity is reliable, vendors run local data centres, and InvoiceNow itself runs over the internet. On-premises makes sense when a parent company, regulator or auditor requires the database under your control. ABSS, Odoo, SAP Business One and Flowyana offer that route; the rest are cloud only.

How long does an ERP rollout take?

A cloud accounting product with clean opening balances goes live in one to three weeks. A trading or F&B system with inventory, POS and several outlets typically takes eight to twelve weeks including migration and training. Dictode delivers the InvoiceNow connection and custom modules on Flowyana in about 4–8 weeks per scope.
